Stemmers Run Rd staff
Robin has worn many hats in our practice. Her career with us began in 1977 as a dental assistant for Dr. Cohen. After two years in this capacity, she moved to the front desk as a receptionist for six years. She missed the clinical aspects of dentistry, so returned to school and completed her degree in dental hygiene in 1987. She prides herself in tailoring each patient’s treatment to his/her individual needs.
Brigid began serving our office in October 2016. She joined the team as a Dental Hygiene temp, but with her talent and exceptional care, she quickly became an official member of the team by January 2017. Brigid earned her Bachelor Degree of Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery. She has over 30 years of experience and can perform a range of services which include preventative and non-surgical periodontal procedures. She enjoys implementing new techniques and delivering quality care to her patients.
Janet began working in our practice as a dental assistant in 1987 and was with us for 13 years before moving out of state in 2000. In 2009 she returned to our team in both clinical assisting and front office roles, and we’ve been happy to have her back. She enjoys connecting with our patients and making them feel welcome and comfortable.
As the office manager at Caring Dental, Christy oversees all managerial duties at the Philadelphia Road and the Stemmers Run Road locations. Primarily, she handles front desk reception at the Stemmers Run location full-time. Christy’s favorite part about her job is “helping patients manage their dental phobia and helping them gain a better understanding of their dental needs.” She also loves seeing the patients smile as they leave their appointment satisfied!
Christy has been working in the dental field since 2003, taking on many roles such as dental assistant, front desk coordinator, and office manager. She is billing and coding certified as well as dental radiography certified.
“I push myself to be a better person every day while doing my best to treat people fairly – the way I would want to be treated. A beautiful smile or simple ‘Hello’ can go a long way. ” – Christy
As a single mother of a daughter with special needs, Christy values kindness and compassion – which “can go a long way in the world today.” When she’s not working, Christy likes to spend time with her daughter, Lexi, their dog, Abel, and their friends and family.
As a dental assistant, Linnet takes X-rays, prepares the exam room, and helps the dentists in procedures. Maintaining her passion for dentistry for over ten years, Linnet earned a bachelor’s degree in dental surgery in 2016 while living in India. After moving to the United States, she earned her diploma in dental assistance in 2019, and dental radiology in 2020.
Linnet’s favorite aspects of dentistry include helping people and treating everyone with respect, as well as working alongside the kind and supportive staff at Caring Dental. She understands the dental anxiety that some patients experience and seeks to alleviate that apprehension:
“When they are scared of coming to the dentist’s office, I make sure they are comfortable and have a pleasant experience.“
In her free time, Linnet enjoys listening to music, shopping, cooking, and enjoying new recipes with her husband and family.
